  • Sometimes, as the body begins to slow down, emotions or sensations can surface. This is a natural part of releasing built-up stress and tension.

    You are always in control of your experience. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, you’re welcome to sit up, take a moment, or step out of the room.

    After the session, there is time to settle, have a tea, and speak with the practitioner if you’d like support.

  • Every experience is different. Some people feel a shift straight away, while for others it can take a couple of sessions.

    Even if it feels subtle, your body is still moving into a calmer, more regulated state.

    The benefits build over time, and many people find each session becomes more effective as the body becomes familiar with letting go.

  • At the end of the session, you’ll be gently guided back and given time to come around at your own pace.

    There’s no rush to leave. You’re welcome to sit up slowly, take a moment, and settle before heading out. We often have tea available, and space to stay for a few minutes if you’d like.

    Most people leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more settled. Some people feel light or slightly floaty, so it’s best to take your time and ease back into your day.

    Occasionally, you may feel light-headed, emotional, more tired than usual, or notice vivid dreams afterwards. You may also feel more thirsty or need to use the bathroom more frequently as your body processes and rebalances.

    These effects are usually temporary and settle naturally.

    We recommend drinking plenty of water, taking things slowly, and allowing your body time to adjust.

    You are always in control of your experience and can adjust or take a break at any time.

  • Everything is provided, including mats, blankets, bolsters, pillows, and eye masks. You’re welcome to bring water if you’d like.

  • While one session can make a noticeable difference, the benefits build with consistency. Many people find they feel a deeper shift after their second or third session.

  • To keep the space calm for everyone, we’re not able to admit late arrivals once the session has begun.

  • HUMM is designed as a calm, quiet space. Children aged 12 and over are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

  • You’re always able to adjust your position at any time to feel comfortable.

    If you have an injury or specific needs, feel free to let us know before the session and we’ll support you where we can.

  • If you are pregnant, particularly in the first trimester, we recommend checking with your healthcare professional before attending.
